Volumes 5, 6, and 7 will continue training at the Corridas level of Balintawak. This is the random method of striking put into what is called the “mixing bowl”. David Hatch has put together the progressions of Corridas in easy-to-follow stages. Each stage will demonstrate key movements and situations. The last part of each stage will show examples of how continuity plays a vital role in helping you develop in the art of Balintawak. This three volume instructional DVD set will cover the Lansis (set-ups). The Lansis is one of the major areas in the advancement of Balintawak. In addition, bounce blocking, left-hand snake, arm pulls, punyo (butt end of the stick) strikes (called pokpok), whiplash, disarms , and more will be covered.
